This report presents a novel method for assessing the thermal comfort impacts of space-conditioning-based demand flexibility (DF) events and their influence on household participation. By analyzing DF strategies in a real-world setting, the study provides insights into region-specific, occupant-centric approaches to improve participation rates and optimize program effectiveness.
